Car Notes |
2012.07.01 Ebay
Brook Park, OH
You are looking at an all original 2001 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk #36 off the line from SLP. A brief history on the vehicle...from the chevy dealership this particular Trans Am model was sent to SLP for the upgraded Firehawk options. It received the Firehawk ram air hood with dual hood-mounted heat extractors, SLP's exhaust with dual tips, 17x9 chrome plated wheels featuring the Firehawk logo on the center caps, Firehawk badging all around with key fob, optional Bilstein performance suspension, custom floor mats, auburn high torque differential. The original owner purchased the vehicle on 5/30/01 with 344 miles on the car in Spring Lake, NC. From there the car was passed to the previous owner before myself. The previous owner indicated that the original motor was blown by the original owner and then taken back the Chevy where they put in a new motor. I purchased the car on 12/20/11 when it had 76K miles on it. In the past 6 1/2 months of ownership of the vehicle I put appx. 16K miles on it. The condition in which i received the car has improved compared to the previous owner when I took control of it. The A/C system doesn't work due to a tear in the lower line and the synchros in 3rd are gone. These are the ONLY mechanical problems to date. The car is ALL original except for the Mezeire Electric water pump, UMI 3-point subframe connectors, 20% tint all around and JBL aftermarket sound system (to clarify the back seat speakers were blown and i replaced them with 6" Memphis audio speakers and in the compartment to the left of the t-top holder is the JBL 10" subwoofer and amplifier. the amp only runs the subwoofer and there is a control knob under the steering wheel to adjust the bass. the system sounds amazing with whatever music you want to listen to country, rap, rock, etc.) Ther! e is an extra set of decals for the vehicle i ordered and customs headrests embroidered with the Firehawk logo. This car is 100% rust free, never seen snow and lived its whole life in the Fayetteville, NC area until recently when i brought the vehicle to Ohio. The LS1 motor coupled with the T56 transmission is an amazing setup even stock. The car turns heads everywhere and when you open it up EVERYBODY stops and stares. Body is straight as an arrow, tires have good tread on them. Paint is a 10 footer (looks amazing at 10 ft away, but as you get closer you notice the imperfections), interior is 8/10.Selling the vehicle because I have just moved back from Ft.Bragg, NC and need the money. I reserve the right to end the auction early, all sales are final, a $500 non-refundable deposit is due at the end of the auction. Happy bidding! Any questions feel free to message me on eBay or at two1six-2seven2-eight2four0 -jim (prefer text message but call is fine) reserve price is set way lower than the NADA LOW VALUE. in order to find the value of the vehicle you need to use NADACLASSICS. any other source will not list the Firehawk option and price the vehicle way below its worth. i have receipts that date back to the original owner.Low:$13,750Average:$15,500 High:$17,300 |
