This is not a WU6 Code Trans Am
Bowling Green, Ky, United States
Up for auction here is my 1999 Trans am. I bought this car from a close friend of mine who over the past 3 yrs. has spent loads of money transforming the car into what it is today. Below is a list of the majority of parts that have been installed on the car all of which have under 4000 miles on them and were prof. installed.
MOTOR: All forged eagle rotating assembly 383 cubic inch, total engine airflow fully ported and polished heads with valve job, 1.85 roller rockers, big cam(cam specs will be told to buyer), ls6 intake, ported and polished throttle body, aft. mrkt. fuel injectors, big fuel pump in tank.
TRANSMISSION: Art Carr aftermarket 4l60e, Yank 3600 stall converter.
EXHAUST: Kooks custom stainless steel long tube headers, x-pipe with 2 bullet style mufflers and turndowns(true dual).
REAR: 3.73 ring and pinion.
SUSPENSION: bmr tubular subframe connectors, tube k-member, tube control arms.
WHEELS: Polished 17x9.5 and 17x11 american racing torque thrust II.
BODY: Firehawk hood and bumper cover and stickers
MISC: Battery relocated to the rear where the spare tire used to be, drilled and slotted rotors front and back.
No money spared, and this car is a beast! Its very fast and it draws attention everywhere it goes. The only things I can think of that needs attention are the ac needs to be recharged and the cruise control is not currently working. The interior and exterior of the car is very nice for a 8 yr. old car. The car was in an accident more than 4 yrs ago and was professionally fixed with gm parts. It was hit light in the front and its got a rebuilt title from it now. I just wanted to let everyone know up front about this but you would not know the car has ever been wrecked by looking at it or driving it. It is really nice and you will not be dissapointed! This car is currently my daily driver(about 5 miles a day to work and back)and I would feel safe driving it anywhere in the U.S. The car was built right with all the best parts. Like I said before if you have any questions feel free to call, my number is 270-999-XXXX or email me, my name is Andy. Bidders need to have the money ready before auction end. I have title in hand free of any liens for easy transfer. The car will not be shipped but I might be able to meet somewhere within 100 miles of 42101 area code, but this will have to be discussed before auction end. I will need a $500 deposit via paypal within 48hrs. of auction end a the rest of the balance within 5 days of auction end when the car is picked up in the form of cash(this is for safety reasons). If you have neg. feedback or zero feedback please contact me before placing bids. The car is for sale locally so I have the right to end the auction early. The first person to offer $14,500 will get the car and I assure you that is thousands less than what has been put in this car and what its worth. Thanks everyone and good luck!
On Nov-18-07 at 17:08:36 PST, seller added the following information:Hey, several people are asking for a more detailed description of parts on the car so I thought I'd just tell it to everyone at once. Like I said in the original description the motor is a 383 cubic inch stroker with a forged eagle crank, forged eagle h-beam rods, and JE forged pistons. Its got clevite bearings a double roller timing chain and a ported oil pump. The cam specs are 239/244 .651"/.620" 111LSA. The heads are cnc ported ls6 heads, 59cc chambers, 2.02 & 1.6 valves, new double springs, seats, retainers, locks, and hardened push rods. The rockers are 1.7 harland sharp(forgot 1.85's were taken out when this cam was put in). Other doo-dads are egr and air pump delete, ngk tr55 spark plugs, msd wires, Katech belt tensioner, mobil 1 fluids, dynomax bullet mufflers, adj. panhard bar, and perma-cool tranny cooler. O yeah, the converter is a yank 3800 stall not 3600 as listed before, I was in a hurry when I listed the car, sorry for the screw up. Theres probably alot more little things but I think you all get the idea, no corners cut. If theres anything else anyone needs to know just ask and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks again and good luck! |
